Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers in the heart of the UK

Hagley Hall

Key details

Project Overview

This project involved the sensitive restoration of an area of Grade 1 listed parkland at Hagley Hall. The structural division within Baynham Meikle were responsible for the production of tender proposals that included sheet piling and reinforcing the dam structures to each of the 3 ponds located within a deep valley. A number of cascading waterfall structures were also reconstructed or repaired to reflect what was originally in place back in the 17th century.

Our civil engineering team was tasked with providing a complex network of pipes to recirculate and manage the water to the ponds to guarantee that the cascades never run dry and to ensure that the water flow is effectively managed in times of peak rainfall.
