Baynham Meikle supported Crewe 335 end-to-end — from site acquisition of the former “Old Tea Factory” and demolition/enabling works through detailed civil and structural design to successful completion. On a complex, town-centre brownfield site, we de-risked constraints, coordinated stakeholders, and engineered a robust, efficient frame and infrastructure for a 335,403 sq ft distribution unit built to an enhanced specification. Our drainage, highways and external-works design, together with a fabric-first structural approach, aligned with the project’s sustainability goals and underpinned its BREEAM “Excellent” outcome. The result is a future-ready, high-performing logistics hub that sets a benchmark for quality and resilience in Crewe’s established commercial district.
