Co:Labs sits at the heart of the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus and includes the construction if new laboratories and office facilities. As consulting engineers, we provided civil and structural expertise for the construction of these high-performing building envelopes, external infrastructures, and complex facility layouts. The IQ Labs included 115,000 ft2 GIA split between two buildings. The flagship R&D and laboratory development was built to house start-up and scaling science businesses. Co:Labs North and South are divided to offer shell-and-core space and CAT A labs, connected by an innovative social coloration space known as “The LINK”.
