Baynham Meikle were involved in the design and construction of an interesting building on the Farnborough business park for Costa Coffee. The gull wing roof and inclined columns to the front of the structure created some attractive features.

The building was formed using a braced steel frame on a suspended first floor slab. The foundation solution consisted of reinforced ground beams and driven piles due to the presence of a loose sand substrata combined with a high-water table.
