Gavin has gained over 20 years’ experience in Civil Engineering across a multitude of sectors, working as project lead for major and minor development and infrastructure works and ensuring all operations are delivered to the required standards, specifications and budgets.
As managing director, Gavin drives and oversees day-to-day business operations, assisting clients and colleagues in navigating complex engineering projects while identifying opportunities for collaboration, innovation and efficiency.
Narinder leads the civils side of the business and has over 25 years’ experience in assessing, designing, and implementing civil engineering solutions.
Narinder has experience working on and project managing schools, universities, industrial, residential, and commercial projects including multi-million-pound business park projects.
Narinder combines technical understanding with industry experience to provide value-added engineering options for clients, liaising regularly with all parties during the design and implementation phases to help minimise risks, reduce costs, and maintain project timelines.
Malcolm heads up the structural arm of Baynham Meikle and has over 20 years’ experience designing and managing structural projects from conception to completion.
Malcolm is a chartered engineer with the IStructE and is proficient in the design of all types of structural materials. He has worked across demolition, refurbishment and new build for both small-scale and high-profile clients and can apply innovative and versatile solutions to meet varying client and project needs.
Malcolm oversees the structural engineering team within Bayham Meikle and is the lead for quality and compliance.
Ian has 35 years’ experience in producing and reviewing structural designs for clients across a wide range of projects, including construction of multi-storey steel structures, office refurbishments, residential developments and demolition projects.
Ian’s expertise includes detailed understanding of structural design software packages and he utilises this knowledge to assist clients and colleagues in designing and documenting innovative and effective technical specifications and plans for wide-ranging projects using different materials, including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
Ian works across Baynham Meikle’s client portfolio but has significant experience in Life Sciences and industrial-use building structures.
Tony has over 28 years’ experience in the construction industry which allows a close working relationship with clients, design teams and contractors.
Tony oversees projects from planning stage through to completion and utilises his broad experience within construction, in problem solving and assisting in the smooth running of a project on time and to budget. Tony regularly visits sites prior to and during construction, troubleshooting to ensure a seamless workflow.
Tony works across Baynham Meikle’s client portfolio but has significant experience in refurbishment and extension works.
Glenn has over 40 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a general experience of structures from demolition to refurbishment and new build. He has been with the practice since 1987, progressing to associate in 1992 and partner in 1998, transferring to managing director in 2014.
As previous managing director, Glenn has had a pivotal role in the company’s current successes and now acts as a consultant for Baynham Meikle, supporting business generation and employee training and mentorship.
Glenn also continues to support the company’s masterplanning or more complex projects and assisting clients with site feasibility and viability assessments.
Hailed as ‘the guru’ within Bayham Meikle for his structural engineering competency and technical excellence, Kevin has over 40 years’ experience supporting clients with intricate, detailed and complex structural design requirements.
