The Fermi Avenue artwork at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus is titled Life, created by renowned artist Jacques Rival. Standing 4 metres tall on the roundabout outside the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) on Fermi Avenue, the installation blends art, nanoscale science, and light.

The sculpture features a circular arrangement of colourful, blown-glass discs, symbolising the building blocks of life.
